1 APPENDIX NO. 5 SEMINAR ON DAM SAFETY INSPECTION AND EVALUATION 1. Purpose of the Appendix This Appendix provides for the American Institute in Taiwan (AI-T) to conduct a seminar in Taiwan on Dam Safety Inspection and Evaluation for the Coordination Council for North American Affa-irs (CCNAA) under the AGREEMENT. 2. Estimated Cost of Services The total estimated cost for the services provided to CCNAA by AIT under this Appendix is US$30,000 (thirty thousand U.S. doll-ars). A summary of the estimated costs is enclosed. 3. Financial Provisions Payments and other financial arrangements shall be as set forth in Article VII of the AGREEMENT. 4. Duration This Appendix will become effective upon the date of the last s-ignature of the duly authorized representatives of AIT and CCNAA, and will remain in effect until the services described herein,or as amended, are completed. Either party may terminate this A-ppendix as provided for in Article XII of the AGREEMENT. 5.
