1 NAT--I--845--3--3 Appendix Number 3 Annex 3 To Memorandum Of Agreement NAT-I--845 Between The American Institute In Taiwan And The Coordination Council For North American Affairs This appendix identifies specific services to be provided by AITfor the CCNAA, in addordance with Annex Ⅲ to NAT--I--845. ARTICLE I -- Description of Services The AIT will provide one specialist who is an Automated Radar T-eminal System (ARTS Ⅲ) and Display expert on a temporary dutybasis (TDY) to travel to Taipei for a period of approximately o-ne week. This specialist will assess the feasibility of whether ARTS Ⅲ displays can reasonably be made compatible with the exi-sting air traffic control automation equipment system. AIT will arrange for the specialist to depart for Taiwan on a mutually a-greed date. Should additional services be required, the date and length ofservice will be provided for by mutual agreement between AIT andCCNAA, and will be appropriately documented by an amendment tothis Appendix. ARTICLE II - Manpower Requirements and Cost Estimates A The estimated total cost for the AIT technical assistance is U.S.$9,100, which includes salary and benefits, transportation,per diem, AIT/Washington support and 12 percent administrativeoverhead charge. B Should additional services be required, the date and length ofsuch service will be by mutual consent between AIT and CCNAA, and related cost estimates will be documented in an amendment to this appendix or in a separate appendix. ARTICLE III -- Financial Provisions /Procedures A CCNAA agrees to reimburse AIT for actual costs incurred by AITin providing services under this agreement plus a 12 percent administrative overhead charge.This estimatedcost also includ-es 10 percent as contingency to cover unexpected costs. B AIT will render financial statements to CCNAA / AIT bills will: 1 Contain a referecne to the Appendix number assigned to this project (NAT--I--845--3--3) ; 2 Identify charges accrued at the time of billing and periods covered ; 3 Be forwarded for payment in accordance with Article III, Ag-reement NAT--I--845. C Payment of bills is due within sixty (60) days from the dateof billing. Payments are to be made in U.S. dollars marked forNAT--I--805 (which is the agreement number assigned by FAA to identify this poject and shall be referred to in all related correspondence). Payments should be forwarded to the followingaddress : American Institute in Taiwan 1700 North Moore Street Suite 1705 Arlington, Virginia 22209 and Termination ARTICLE IV - Effective Date, Duration, This agreement is effective upon signature by duly authorized c-ompletion of services specified in this agreement and CCNAA pay-ments to AIT covering the financial arrangement stated herein.The AIT and CCNAA agree to the provisions of this Appendix as i-ndicated by signature of their duly authorized officers.
