1 THAI AIRWAYS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED with offices at 89 Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Bangkok (hereinafter referred as the party or the other party, as the context required) and CHINA AIRLINES LIMIT- ED with offices at 131, Section 3. Nanking East Road, Taipei (h- ereinafter referred as the party or the other party, as the con- text required), being desirous offurthering the cooperation bet- ween the two Airlines, have mutually agreed as follows : 1 Each party shall proceed to obtain for the other party an exe- mption from business Tax levied on revenue derived from the o- peration of aircraft in international traffic. 2 Each party understands that the provisions of paragraph 1 of this Memorandum shall apply to the Business Tax levied on rev- enue derived by the other party as from April 1, 1986.
